If you ever spot misspellings while editing Wikipedia, it's a nice thing to edit the article to make the correction. You can also seek out misspellings in the following ways:

Targeted Spell Checking

If you are looking to clean up articles on a certain topic:

1. Search for a misspelled word related to the topic; for example, for articles about feminism, you might try words like femenism, femnism, wemen, or womne. You might find that some misspellings you make up are proper nouns that take you straight to their article. Try the Search option instead of the Go option to search more broadly. You can also use a search like this one (just replace "occured" with your typo) but what you find may be out of date.
2. If you found something, determine if it is really a typo. You should leave certain types of things that appear to be misspellings, such as foreign or obsolete words, or words in quotations or URLs. More detail on this on the Typo Team page.
3. When you find something to correct:
   1. Edit the article, search for your typo.
   2. Was this misspelling introduced in an act of vandalism? If so, you may need to revert the whole edit!
   3. Make your correction.
   4. Glance around the rest of the article for other errors (your browser may even underline them for you)
   5. Add a nice edit summary, like: Typo correction - [[Wikipedia:Typo|You can help!]]

Live Spellcheck

1. Install Lupin's Anti-vandal tool.
2. On the bottom left "tools" pane, choose "Live Spellcheck".

This program checks all new edits to Wikipedia against a database of common misspellings, and presents them to you for possible correction!
