Katie-Jo Thomas was born in Burton-upon-Trent in 1987.

Attended St Stephen's Primary School Church Lane, Fradley, Lichfield, The Friary School Lichfeild, Windsor Park Middle School, Uttoxeter and Thomas Alleyne's High School, Dove Bank, Uttoxeter.

Stood for Uttoxeter Town Council for the Conservative Party in 2007 and won a seat on Uttoxeter Heath (is the youngest Female Councillor in Staffordshire and the youngest female Conservative Councillor in UK)
