Bhuvan Chopra is an Indian Television Actor known for his work in Tv Commercials, Hindi serial and Films.

Personal Life

Bhuvan Chopra  was born into a Punjabi family.

He is born and brought up in Delhi and completed his graduation degree in Commerce from University of Delhi.

He got married to Leena Belwalkar in the year 2003 . They became a parent of a daughter Katyayini in 2004 and son Prasoon in 2009.

Career

Bhuvan Chopra originally hails from Delhi and had regularly worked in the past in Theatres. He was associated with Faisal Alkazi [1]theatre group, Ruchika and NK Sharma[2] , Piyush Mishra[3] theatre group act one. Even nowadays, Bhuvan takes out time for theatres whenever possible from his busy schedule.


To set his carrier he shifted his base to Mumbai where he currently resides in year 1998 and Joined Mr. Dev Anand as an assistant director.

He started his acting career in modelling with brand Dettol and then for more than 150 TV commercials which includes Hindi, English , Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He signed as a contract model for brand Colgate for several years as a dentist.

He shot for ICICI Lombard, Yamaha, Dabur, Hamam, Godrej[4] hair Color ,Mahindra truck, Tata swatch, Volkswagen, Microsoft, mcx exchange to name the few.


He got his 1st daily soap break to play antagonist in Sony TV project Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka[5] in year 2000 produced by Shobhna Desai . He played the character of Ashutosh Khanna in star plus serial Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan from year 2002. He was offered a role of Rajshekhar in show "Solhah Shringaarr[6]" aired on Sahara One[7] produced by Kinnari Mehta and Jai Mehta in year 2006. In between he appeared in many stories of series C.I.D on Sony TV playing different unforgettable characters .


He was signed to play the supporting role of Ratan in star plus show yeh rishta kya kehlata hai in 2009. He managed to catch audience’s fancy by playing a very important character of Alok singh in Sony TV’s much popular and long runned show Kya Huaa Tera Vaada produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms in 2012. He was signed to play the character of Avinash gupta in another sony tv thriller series Main na bhoolungi in year 2013. He played the role of veeran singh in colors tv 's serial Shakti astitva ke ehsaas ki from 2016-2021.
