Paul Kakumba

Paul Kakumba Kayitare (born 22 September 1998) is a Rwandan businessman, media proprietor and philanthropist. He is the CEO of Malticom Group of Companies . its Media Services a home of 15 brands, a multimedia company in Uganda and Rwanda mostly known for its flagship television network Avith Tv Network.

Career

Kakumba began his career as an online marketer before enrolling at the University of Kigali. While studying, he developed web applications for various companies, including Prorateer, starting in 2015. His work in this field provided him with valuable experience in both technology and media

In 2017, Kakumba became the CEO of Avith Television Network, which he integrated into Malticom Group of Companies, a multimedia organization he founded. Under his leadership, Malticom expanded significantly, operating three television stations—ATN Television, Eco TV, and Victoria TV—and a radio station, Wish FM Radio, established in 2019. Wish FM Radio is recognized as Uganda's pioneering audiovisual radio station, offering a unique blend of sound and visuals.

Kakumba serves as the Chairman of Malticom Group (MG) currently, which is an industry association representing television, radio, and online broadcasters in Uganda. His leadership has positioned MG as a key player in promoting media innovation and collaboration within the industry.

In addition to his role at Malticom, Kakumba is the sales chairman of lartistical International Ltd., an enterprise he owns. His commitment to excellence and creativity continues to shape his contributions to the media landscape in Uganda..

Personal life

In 2024, Paul Kakumba married Scovia Kakumba Kayitare, also known as Scovia Achola. The couple has one child, a daughter named Nana Azena.

In 2018, Paul Kakumba was recognized as one of the most influential Ugandans in a survey conducted by Public Opinions International and the Sunset Studio Organization
