CHOSUG

CHSOUG is a free user group for OpenSolaris in Switzerland, started initially in 2006.

The idea was to provide a core community group in Switzerland, mainly with technical presentations, a forum and wiki content. The user group has its wiki on http://wikis.sun.com/display/chosug and is active in the following swiss regions: - Fribourg: Université de Fribourg - Geneva: Université de Genève - Lausanne: Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne

CHOSUG has invited Jeff Bonwick and Bill Moore (ZFS engineering) to talk about ZFS, and Nicoulas Droux (Network engineering) to give a preview of the CrossBow project (Network virtualization) in 2007.

Some pictures of presentation can be found on flickr by searching "CHOSUG", a google calendar CHOSUG also exists, and shows the various events (previous and next), and a CHOSUG group also exists on LinkedIn and Plaxo.

The CHOSUG wiki mainly gather and concentrate informations that match interest of OpenSolaris users, and try to keep them updated on the latest news from OpenSolaris.com
