Keir Finlow-Bates received a BA and subsequently an MA in Mathematics and Engineering from Cambridge University, and accepted a position as a Research Scholar and Mathematics Lecturer at London South Bank University. While there he was awarded a PhD in Mathematics and Education. He currently lives in Finland with his wife and three children, and works as a Test and Quality Assurance Manager for the embedded software division of a chip manufacturer.
