Kemi Adebowale’s Childhood and Education


Kemi Adebowale is a Yoruba Nollywood actress who has featured in over 15 Nigerian movies. Kemi Adebowale was born and raised in Isolo,Lagos state.She had her primary education at Jocarine International Primary School and her secondary education at Central Senior High School Okota Isolo. Kemi Adebowale stayed with her aunty briefly in Isolo,Lagos state where she joined the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).


Living in Oman

Kemi Adebowale said she enjoyed living in Oman. She moved to the Southwest Asian Country bordering the Arabian sea in 2017 on an invitation.


Moving back to Nigeria


Kemi Adebowale moved back to Nigeria in December 2018, after staying in Oman for one Year. On her move back to Nigeria, Kemi Adebowale said, “I came back to Nigeria last year [2016] December to start my acting career back here fully because acting is one of my dreams so I am trying and putting more effort to make it come true.”


Kemi Adebowale credits popular Yoruba actress and filmmaker,Funke Akindele , as the mentor that helped her find her feet in acting in Nigeria.
