Kerrie Pullen is a student at Murray State University studying for her undergraduate in studio arts and art education for grades K-12. She has an emphasis in drawing, and has a large interest in paper cutting art. Paper cutting has many traditional roots and it can be used for so many objectives. It can be manipulated in a 2D, 3D, or 4D way. Currently, Kerrie is exploring the possibilities and boundaries paper has as she tries to create work about the human experience and those who are marginalized, giving people who are so often ignored a voice. This will undoubtedly change as she continues her education and creates new bodies of work, and she strives to learn as much as possible to grow towards a successful future in art and, especially, art education.
