I'm a user from the USA. My interests include computers (especially Macs), web design and standards (especially HTML, CSS, and PHP), and factual writing. You can find me editing random articles for small mistakes and reworking larger elements.

The following are some notes I've made for my own reference, mostly regarding Wikipedia style and markup.

The minus	A minus or negative sign	− or −	−
The En dash	A range of dates, etc.	–	–	May or may not have surrounding spaces
The Em dash	Abrupt change in thought or where a comma is too weak and a period too strong	—	—	May or may not have spaces

Notes: Use   to prevent a dash from showing up at the begining of the next line.
