Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa (ULL) is a private Portuguese university based in Lisbon.

The founding entity of the ULL is the Minerva Foundation—Culture—Teaching and Scientific Research.

Creation

The Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa was created by the Cooperativa de Ensino Universidade Lusíada and recognized by Order No. 135/MEC/86, of the Minister of Education and Culture, published in the 2nd series of the Diário da República on June 28, 1986.[1]

Transformation of the founding entity

Through Decree Law n.º 117/2003, of 14 June,[2] the Minerva Foundation — Culture — Teaching and Scientific Research (foundation) was established, through the transformation of the Teaching Cooperative Lusíada University.

Statutes

The Statutes of the Lusíada University of Lisbon were registered by order, of October 21, 2009, of the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education.[3]

Lusíada Merit Award

The ULL grants a fee reduction to candidates in the normal access competition who enter the ULL for the first time and who have an application average equal to or greater than 14 marks. Students who move from year without curricular units in arrears and an average equal to or greater than 14, keep this benefit.
