French Arrowhead Tales
French Arrowheads have been made for some 20,000 to 50,000 years. Undoubtedly, the most famous one was a 8 1/2" Paleolithic Oldowan arrowhead. It is not necessarily the scarcity of the particular arrowhead, but the legend behind it. As the legend goes, a Frenchman was walking his dog down a park two kilmetres away from Paris. As he went further into the dense undergrowth, the small animal with him fell into a peculiar hole. As it was very narrow, the man had a small child help him for a small amount. When he lowered the child into a hole, he saw a large dirty stone. Once cleansed, they realized at once that it was a rare arrowhead.
