Kim Nguyen is a current student at College of DuPage and was planning on transferring to a 4-year school in the spring semester. She is still undecided on what university she would like to attend to due to a knee injury that changed her options. Both of her parents, including her older brother, were born in Vietnam, whereas, she was born here in America. The first area they started settling down was in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Her mother was the one who decided to move to Wheaton, Illinois when Kim turned 5-6 years old due to the neighborhood they lived in. Ever since then, they have been living in the same house for more than 15 years.[1]
