Why I'm here
editI am a new editor to Wikipedia. I use this resource frequently for new topics which I want to learn more about, and suspect many other people do the same. I became an editor of Wiki because I consistently saw a number of errors and omissions when it came to areas which I would consider myself an expert in. These errors may not be apparent to most people, but they are in many cases important enough distinctions to correct. I will tend to stick with certain topics listed below and their related areas. Other topics not related to these can be saved for someone else.
Areas which I would consider myself to be an expert in:
edit- Finance
- Personal finance
- financial planning
- Investments
- Economics
- Inflation & Deflation
Areas that I am not an expert in:
edit- life
- languages that I am not fluent in ... i.e. almost all of them.
- antarctica
- ancient Grecian architecture
- fashion
- Harry Potter
- Samoan basket weaving
- minecraft
This list could take years to create, so I'll stop here for now.
Granted that everyone is prone to mistakes occasionally, unless you have an expertise in these areas, please contact me prior to making edits to mine. The precise wording of changes that I tend to make are for specific reasons. Also related pages in Wiki are another area which an expert should manage that could help other users who are looking for related information.
Since I am new, be patient with my coding. I'm happy to help and would appreciate any feedback of comments. thanks Kirk
I wanted to add a picture of something, but could not figure out how to insert it. Let me know.
