editThe mesoamerican civilization was during the indians time. They lived in Mexico and Central America. Some people say that the native americans had found a secret land that went all the way to america. Some also say that they went through the oceans. That is because the waters were very low at that time. One of the famous things the Indians had were the three sister crops. These are:Squash, corn, and beans. They all help each other grow. This was only for the land that had lots of rain moist ground. For desert-like places, this would not go well. They were only able to hunt and gather. Gathering is when they gather the animals, and help them reproduce so that they can have meat.. They never spoke just one language. They also used to draw things to speak languages. Only they would be able to figure out what this meant. That is because they were the ones who made the language. Like sequoia. He made a writing language that no one has ever known about. The Spanish didn’t know about this. That is because they never came to explore it. The Mesoamerican civilization happened so land ago, it was even before the pre-columbian times.Archeologists say that these people were here during 21,000 BCE. BCE stands for Before the Common Era. So that means this happened 21,000 years before the common era. The Indians lived peacefully with each other. They did things like trades. Every Indian tribe had a leader. This is why they lived on their own. But, they still did things like trades. They made their houses and other things out of wood. They had lots of vegetables and fruits. In the hunter-gatherer periods, they depended on animals like horses. Before the pre columbian times means that it happened before Christopher Columbus was even born. Even vikings used to live here. Native Americans used to own America before Christopher columbus. Christopher Columbus first came to America with one hundred men and three ships. Christopher Columbus also never proved that the earth is round. But, he also never thought the earth was flat. All educated people knew that the earth was round. This was known since the Greek times. Christopher Columbus was traveling on the ocean. If North America hadn’t been in the way, he would have completed his mission. When he reached the land, he sent messages about it. Soon, everyone knew about it. Everyone wanted to own it. First, they knew they would need to get rid of the indians. So they made the Indians sign a treaty to leave. Some of them decided not to do it. So after that, they tried to destroy all of the food. They also decided to take it as well. After that, some of those Indians still decided to live on the land. At that point, they went into war. After that, the Indians decided to leave. This made the people happy.
