Charles Alexander (August 16, 1824 - January 31, 1913) was a prominent patriarch and community member in Victoria, British Columbia. He built the first school in South Saanich, assisted in forming the Temperance Society and built the first Shady Creek Church.[1] He and his wife Nancy had 400 descendants as of 1992.[1]
