Hello!
My name is Katelyn Schulz, and I am currently enrolled with Johns Hopkins University in the M.S. Biotechnology and National Security Studies dual degree program with a concentration in Biodefense. This is my second semester in the program, and I am thoroughly enjoying it thus far. I have a B.S. Biology from National University in San Diego, CA. I have various research experience, ranging from determining the virulence factors of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to assessing the beach functionality of benthic organisms. I'm very happily married, and in my spare time I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, cooking/baking, and reading.
