Wesley F. Duggens is a writer. He was born on the 8th of June 1988 in Columbia, Maryland. He grew up in London, Madrid and various parts of Washington, DC and the surrounding areas (notably Bethesda, Arlington and Potomac). Showing an interest in literature early on, he was influenced by the works of contemporary writers and poets such as George Orwell, H. G. Wells, the Beat Generation and Hunter S. Thompson as well as the Romantic poets. He began to write poems at the age of three (and since has amassed a staggering collection of more than three thousand individual poems). He started to take writing seriously after the tragic death of his mother in 2005, garnering critical acclaim in his late teens for his darkly poetic, psychedelic style.
