Qiane Matata-Sipu (B.1985)[1] residing in Auckland, New Zealand, raised in Māngere.[2] Notable as the winner of 2021 Women of Influence Awards, the Arts and Culture section.[3] Inventor and co founder of NUKU, [4] a storytelling (non-profit)[5] platform where one hundred indigenous women have their voices amplified and projected through different mediums. "photography, audio podcast, video, live events and now a self-published book."[4] Reinforcing wāhine (woman/women) and discover the layers of cultural identity and learn to live authentically by transforming thinking, by transferring and gaining knowledge across generations.[4]
