I am a student at Georgia Southern University and I am editing articles and creating my own article for my English class. I am a business management major and yes I realize that most people do not get hired as managers. Contrary to popular belief, that is not why people choose business management as a major... that would be stupid. Business management teaches you the qualities of managers in the hopes of being able to be promoted at a business job based off management and leadership qualities and skills. Therefore, yes I understand I will not be a "business manager" right out of college, but I will have already acquired the qualities to one day become a manager.

My Wikipedia philosophy

edit

Before taking my English class this semester, I had always believed that Wikipedia was not a reliable source of information. However, I have always used Wikipedia by using the references at the bottom of the articles. After being able to experience how articles on Wikipedia are made, I understand that the majority of what is written on articles is actually reliable because it has to come from reliable sources. I also know now that every article is reviewed by many people who catch mistakes and that articles are not just uploaded and forgotten about. This has helped me to understand that I can use Wikipedia to research topics effectively.

My Wikipedia Contributions

edit

Before I wrote my article, I made contributions or edits to a few articles. I made edits and contributions to the article on Lambert High School and also the article on Forsyth County, Georgia .

I then created an article on the novel "How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls" by Zoey Dean. However, I believe my article was deleted due to lack of notability. (Even though I believe it is completely worthy of notability status). Here is a link to the test page that I created for the article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kp81215/test

This user + technology = disaster.

This user can get online. Did you know that?

<< this is about all I can do!

I do not understand technology, however I love what technology can do. I can get online and do normal things like Google and Facebook and Email, but if you ask me how to fix something on your computer, I will look at you dumbly and then give you the number to call the Geeksquad. I do not speak computer language at all. I do not even understand the basics on how a computer works and I do not ever plan to. I can get by using the internet and the other essentials on my computer such as Word and Powerpoint just fine without knowing how it works.

Almost anything having to do with technology hates me. My printer currently does not work because "it is wireless and you can't run it without a router in a dorm." Yeah, like I understand what that means.

Being able to code this userpage makes me feel like I know how to do something on a computer, but I wouldn't ask me how to do yours. :)

Funny user boxes. enjoy.
