- Alternatively you can list here featured images from the Commons by users from the Russian Wikipedia.

- Unfortunately, I'm not watching for featured pictures, and I can list only my two images (and I strong dislike one of them). Maybe we need to ask our users at the russian Village pump. --Ptr ru 19:38, 18 November 2006 (UTC) (ru:User:Panther)

RfA and RfB reform
In September 2006 bureaucrat Drbug speedily closed Obersachse's request for bureaucratship stating that he is not ready to promote without a formal RfB policy. After two concurrent proposals were heavily criticized, community carried the approval poll about details of RfA and RfB process. As a result, vote was extended from one week to two, and section for neutral vote has been removed (all neutral opinions should go to the general discussion section and will be taken into account only if consensus is unclear). Also, all elector should have at least 100 edits and 3 months of editing experience.
People's inspection
Recently on Russian Wikipedia a new project was started - ru:Википедия:Проект:Народный контроль. It was planned as some kind of Public Prosecutions. Members of the project will supervise on administrators, bureaucrats and checkusers; will collect complaints on their wrong activities and may collectively bring an action in Arbitration Committee. --Vlad Jaroslavleff 18:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
