I used to work for a local authority as the Geographic and Demographic Information Manager. I was active at a national level, and have held many roles. I have also been a Polymer Technologist, and a Factory and Technical Manager.
I have owned, showed, worked and bred Field Spaniels and Gordon Setters.
I am proficient at many crafts, particularly jewellery making (hot and cold work) knitting and machine knitting, both flatbed, and newly come to circular sock machines.
I also suffer with the very rare Wartenbergs Migratory Sensory Neuropathy and wrote the inital page on this on wikipedia as there wasn’t one, and I had managed to find a few disparate articles on it after weeks of web searching. As a research specialist, I didn’t want anyone else to have to try and find the information as I did, hence the page. I am gratified to find that diagnosis of a few people has happened as a direct result of the page, some of them after years of uncertainty. I also have many autoimmune co-disorders, so have much first hand knowledge of many similar ailments.
