Introduction: developing my user page

Why hello there~

I'm a Cornell University student who is new to the Wikipedia community and was introduced to it via the online nutrition course I'm enrolled in. I'm drawn to Wiki articles that provide synopses on animated shows/movies, articles about concepts regarding molecular biology, articles about dishes that originate from other cultures, and articles that detail the backgrounds of celebrities. My basic research interests include pop culture references, nutritional fads, and topics related to reproductive health/obstetrics. I'm excited to be editing Wikipedia because I never thought of myself as qualified or knowledgeable about a particular subject that would grant me authority to change what's posted here. I'm looking forward to the opportunity of doing in-depth research and careful reading in order to contribute to the Wikipedia community. I hope to better rephrase information in my own words, to learn how to navigate editing Wikipedia with ease, and to develop my personal interests based on the articles I come across.
