Hello, I see that you are a Russian editor. The article on Battle of Narva (1700) seems to be written by some anonymous IPs from a pro-Swedish and anti-Russian POV, and looking at the history they have already been warned. Help is needed?

As you probably noticed, in your user page the pictures block some of whats written. Can i try to edit it? Because i think that if we move the images to the bottom at the edit page, the written wont be blocked by the image. If that wont work i will return it to be the way it was (is now). The thing is that what you wrote is very interesting, and it's sad that many who might want to read it wont be abale to (shure you can enter "edit" to read the full text, like i did, but many are afraid to mess with it). Hmm do not have Mozilla Fire fox (since in this software you cant open a few windows in one), and i dont have a widescreen. The program i ussually use is MyIE2, and here are screenshots of how it looks here:

And i have the same thing when using the regular Explorer.

As you can see, i cant sent you e-mails due to the fact that i just dont see the "sent an email" thing.

Right go and increase your PC resolution, I guess you are on 800 x 600, (right click on desktop-> properties-> advanced, let me now if you find it) Increase at least to 1024 x 760 (I think it is that) and the page should be viewed alright. --Kuban Cossack 19:17, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

I came here about to metters:

1. Have you recived the e-mail i have sent you?

2. In the Alexander Lukashenko article there's a critisism section. I added to the section what his supporters think of him (because before that it had only propoganda against Lukashenko), the problem is i dont know how to write Russian (only how to read and speak, a problem many of those who immigrated to Israel at a young age like me have), and i dont know Belorusian, so i cant find references supporting what i have stated. I hope you could help me with that, and offcourse if you could add more things in his support that will be nice.

As i understood you are Russian so...

Could you please help with the Russian martial arts thing?

I will tell you the problems:

1. Russian martial arts article needs referencing, and i couldn't find thise.

2. There are articles about martial arts in Russian that need to be translated to English. After translated to English, they also need to be referenced and expanded (the demends on the English Wikipedia are higher). Those articles are: [4], [5], [6].

I don't want to dissapoint you, but unfortunately I have too much time on my hands. My best advise is to contact some Russian admins such as User:Ezhiki and User:abakharev and ask them that question.

Kuban Cossacks Discussion

I wanted to add several comments that are more appropriate on personal talk pages than on the article's general discussion pages. Despite our disagreements I have a lot of respect for you and enjoy your contributions.

I find it interesting that you condemn Bandera and Shukhevich as murderers (presumably for the disgusting massacres of the Polish population in Volyn) and criticize modern Ukrainians for thinking of them as heroes. Perhaps you should reflect on your own glorification of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, who in fighting against his people's oppression also unleashed a wave of terror against Poles and Jews [7] which was no less than that of UPA. The bahavior of the Zaporozhian cosack Maksym Zalizniak 100 years later also fits thispattern. In a sense, UPA can be considered Khmelnytsky's heirs on several fronts, doing in Volyn what Khmelnytsky had done in central Ukraine (and before you mention Pereyaslav, don't forget that Khmelnytsky turned to the Russians last, after the Tatars had betrayed him and when he was desperate; the Hetman was already plotting with the Swedes at the time of his death). Modern Ukrainian veneration of Bandera or Shukhevych is not much different from all Ukrainians' veneration of Khmelnytsky.

With respect to your comments on ethnicity, it seems that you are confusing loyalty or ideology with ethnicity. I mentioned friends in Kiev, ethnic Russians, who support Ukrainization and are loyal to Ukraine's independence. According to you, these people ceased being Russians and became Ukrainians. Why? They themselves speak Russian (the kids go to Ukrainian schools and speak Ukrainian amongst themselves), claim that they are ethnic Russian Ukrainian citizens, have Russian parents, know Pushkin etc. My mother-in-law, a resident of Moscow, is absolutely loyal to Russia, has negative feelings towards Orange Ukraine and does not like what she sees asPoland's meddling in Ukraine and Poland's political anti-Russian acts (such as those invovling the Baltic sea pipeline). Yet she is 100% ethnic Pole, a practicing Roman Catholic, favorite composer Chopin, etc. People (such as you and other Kuban Cossacks such as Zakharchenko) can be loyal and patriotic citizens of Russia while also being ethnic Ukrainians. Likewise, ethnic Russians can be loyal to the Ukrainian state and its aims without losing their Russian ethnicity as with that couple from Kiev I mentioned. Just forgot, Shkloŭ is another one that should be speedily dealt with, but here you also have the Belarusian form of Lukashenko - I do not dare touch that one. Done — I removed from Ukrainian language's Talk Page the words you felt as offensive. This was not my intention. I only meant to ask you to be more rigorous, more neutral in the way you present things, and as I could see on some pages lengthy ‘deaf talks’ (dialogues de sourds, like the French say) which led nobody to nowhere and many other really mean and disruptive behaviors. I really wondered if it was useful to ask you to be more objective. And I am wondering whether I do well to write these lines here, as I guess you are thinking these are personal attacks… I would be sorry if you took these like this. Please, don't.
I am relatively new to Wikipedia: I left Wikipedia at the end of 2004/beginning of 2005 (I can't remember when it was exactly) because of things getting more and more wrong here; I came back mid-Oct, 2007, believing these things would have been tamed. I can see it is not, far from it.
