Not so long ago, in the far northern city of Juneau, Alaska, L'Aquatique was born, the first child of a humble pair of therapists. And as she was born, the earth did tremble, and after seeing her, everyone knew why; for none of them had ever seen a baby with quite so much hair. Nevertheless, thick black locks aside, she was indeed a cute baby, and there was much rejoicing. Her childhood was a sheltered one, and under the firm but kind tutelage of many fine educators (to whom she is eternally grateful) she honed her writing skills, and is now widely regarded as one of the most anal copy editors of the western world. Unfortunately, there are no free rides in the game of life, and with inborn talent came a turbulent adolescence filled with mental illness and other bad things. Fearing for her sanity, she chose to abandon public schooling and received her GED at the age of 16, with a perfect score on the science section. Now a Marine Biology student at University of Alaska Southeast, she has made it her life goal to help others, having traveled as far as Pennsylvania to champion for the rights of the LGBT (which always reminds her of a BLT sandwich) community, volunteered extensively at a Children's Mental Health Center, and now helping to found WikiProject Accessibility. And, to no one's surprise, her hair is just as thick and black as it was the day she was born.

  • Imparting my dubious wisdom upon people who didn't ask for it.
  • Placing little flag icons whenever a country, state, province, territory or other important place is mentioned. I try to refrain.
  • Thumb drives, Widgets, and other things that are fun to play with.
  • Listening to music while editing the wiki.

Odds and Ends

  • My Subpages- The odd bits that get trodden on...
  • My beautiful Signature is too big to fit in the box, so I use a template. Sometimes it renders funny, mais c'est la vie, ouais?
  • My Sandbox- no touchy!! : )
  • My Userboxes- Everything you never wanted to know about yours truly.
  • Simpler Userpage- For those who might have trouble with this admittedly funky (and very purple) userpage...
  • A Fish Named Algernon- If you like my writing, there's more to be had. Knock 'yaself out.
  • "Location, Location"- my travels...
