Armageddon (2006) was the seventh Armageddon professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on December 17 2006 at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia and featured talent from the SmackDown! brand.[2] The tagline was "The End...Is Only the Beginning".
The main event was a tag team match between World Heavyweight Champion Batista and WWE Champion John Cena and King Booker and Finlay. Batista and Cena won the match after Batista pinned Booker after executing a Batista Bomb.[3] One of the predominant matches on the card was a Last Ride match between Mr. Kennedy and The Undertaker, which Undertaker won by throwing Kennedy into the hearse and driving away.[4] Another primary match on the undercard was Kane versus Montel Vontavious Porter in an Inferno match, which Kane won by setting Porter's back on fire.[5]
