edit

Okavango river is the fourth longest non-perennial river system in southern Africa that flows all four seasons of the year. It flows from Angola, over 1609 km, passing through Namibia before entering Botswana where it forms the Okavango Delta. It is also known as Kubango river in Angola and it's called Kavango river in the Okavango region north-east of Namibia. In its uppermost course, the Okavango flows through woodland country that becomes less densely forested as the river progresses southward. Further to the southeast, the river passes through areas occupied by dry savanna example grassland with scattered acacia trees. Due to it's attributes it have served as a tourist attraction for Namibia and it plays an important role on the lives of the local people.
