Geography

The commune is situated on the junction of the D149 and the N17 roads, some 22 miles (35 km) northwest of Saint-Quentin.

Monument

The town has a monument dedicated to Marshal Foch. This is located near the D1017 road. This monument represents a bronze statue of Marshal Foch sculpted by Firmin Michelet, a French sculpor. It was inaugurated in 1926 in the presence of Marshal Foch.[1]

The hiking trail begins in the municipality of Cossogno, in the town of Cicogna, at an altitude of 732 meters. The town can be reached in several ways: on foot via a mule track, by bike or by car following a 10km road from Verbania, a tourist town near Lake Maggiore. [1]
