I am a former legal and university science department secretary/administrative assistant. I have always had a passion for editing documents of all varieties, from business letters to doctoral theses. I also enjoy creating logical, well-sequenced, and esthetically pleasing forms.

I discovered long ago that I am incapable of reading for pleasure without naturally proofing as I read. Nearly all of my many books are thoroughly marked with the corrections and improvements that I feel make the work better. Only The Holy Bible escapes my editing pencil. Since the internet affords me an endless supply of documents, I constantly find websites to proof for the pure joy of it; correcting grammar, punctuation, syntax, and spelling, and then communicating these corrections to the site's manager, all without expectation for remuneration of any sort. I sincerely hope that those who visit Wikipedia will benefit from my efforts with an increased understanding and enjoyment of their chosen topic.

Per my username, I also have a passion for creating fine tatted lace. German Speed Knitting and crocheting are handwork projects that I enjoy as well. Science, history, science fiction, cooking, and baking are my other areas of interest, with the latter being the most pleasing to my husband and daughter.

I am honored to be counted among the Wikipedia editors. I sincerely appreciate this opportunity to serve.
