I get paid to edit Wikipedia! That is, I edit Wikipedia at work when I should be designing signs. Hopefully, Wikipedia's contribution to world productivity exceeds Wikipedia's drain of editors' productivity.
What I appreciate about Wikipedia most is that it covers topics far too mundane to cover in an ordinary encyclopedia. For example, if I were an encyclopedia director, I would not pay writers to cover the details of coffee cupping or the candy store (the two mundane articles I take great pride in beginning). But, thanks to this magical encyclopedia, I can play my little game of thinking of something too obscure for Wikipedia to have an article on. And I almost never win!
