Kelvin Uwaibi
editKelvin Uwaibi is a Nigerian professional with a background in development, finance, and public service. He currently serves as the Managing Director of the Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO), a Nigerian Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) established in 2018 to facilitate investments and support investors in reducing entry barriers into the Nigerian market.

editKelvin Uwaibi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literature from Ambrose Ali University in Nigeria. He furthered his education with a Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. Uwaibi has also completed executive education programs at prestigious institutions including the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, and the Harvard Kennedy School.

editAs the Managing Director of the Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO), Uwaibi works closely with various government departments and agencies to promote investment in Edo State. He organizes investment outreach missions and roadshows to attract investors and provides advice on investment regulations and policies. Uwaibi also focuses on building the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and resolving conflicts between investors and host communities.[1]
United Bank for Africa, Nigeria
editBefore joining the Edo State Government, Uwaibi served as the Team Lead (Public Sector Group) at United Bank for Africa (UBA). In this role, he liaised with government ministries, departments, and agencies to meet their banking needs and manage relationships between the bank and its public sector clients.

editUwaibi worked as a facilitator for the British Council's Debate to Action Programme, where he organized workshops on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and facilitated discussions with various stakeholders.
