Northeast Los Angeles FC is a Los Angeles area men's soccer club based in Northeast Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. They currently play in the NISA Nation affiliated Southwest Premier League[1]. They were also speculated to join the United Premier Soccer League.[2]
History
editFounding & Expansion
editNortheast Los Angeles FC was first founded in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles in 2015 as a youth team participating under the US Youth Soccer umbrella. They were city champions in 2015 & 2016 before moving on to leagues in the United States Adult Soccer Association in 2018.[3] Since then they have promoted from the 9th tier of football in the United States and currently sit in the 7th tier with the highest tier achieved being the 6th tier. They have provided teams which compete at the regional, local, youth and recreational levels.
