Jim E. Morel attended school in New Orleans, Louisiana.[1] aaa awarded her a bachelor's degree in both Physics and Chemistry (1966). He then attended Louisiana State University, where he received a Masters from the Department of Physics (1968) and a Ph.D. from the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences (1972).[2]
