editis conceptual verbal-construction that describes a latest series of visual works by multimedia artist, Lana Milasinovic.
Born in Sarajevo, 1977, at young age she witnessed the ethnic cleansing of the Balkans, ergo, horrific war in the former Yugoslavia during last decade of the 20st century. To avoid political discrimination, in 1996 she seeks and receives asylum in The Netherlands. She follows 4 year study at Minerva, fine art and design academy, settled in the picturesque student city Groningen, in the north of the country.She graduates in 2000 as one of the top class students. In her work she uses a rich pallet of mediums and her subjects are divers and ever changing.
