Hi, I think people and knowledge are important. As a relatively new user, I am learning as I go along. Please leave a message on my talk page if you would like to discuss anything or if it's about a particular article, please use the corresponding talk page and ping me.
My professional career used to be business based, with me working in digital marketing and advertising (a very long time ago) and I have a Masters in Business Administration. I live in the United Kingdom. I enjoy editing a wide range of subjects, some which my studies and professional life touched on, like advertising, business divisions, and buyouts, others which I've learnt about during my life experiences, for example gynaecology and Kings Cross Central, and also things that before deciding to edit, I knew nothing about, such as the Amazon Delta, which I edited because it was a vital article and a stub which I wanted to try to improve, and Michael Scott because the name reminded me of two things from the 1980's and I was reminded of this name, all of which had zero to do with this activist priest! I was happy to nominate Wrest Park as a good article, which passed after some great recommendations and recently did my first good article review.
I had an account briefly in 2010, when none the wiser, I edited with a conflict of interest. At that point I was unfamiliar with the rules/guidelines. I have since told the community/administrators and been forgiven. I no longer have access to that account or the email it was created with, and try to follow policy. This is still a learning curve, with a recent mistake being me thinking I was being helpful date ordering and signing unsigned messages in a few talk page archives and discovering that is not allowed (sorry, I have now learnt and this won't happen again!). I have no affiliation with any business, organisation or industry these days, and do not do any paid editing.
