Stephanie McDonald is an IFBB professional figure competitor [1].
Biography
editStephanie McDonald was born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania on June 4, 1973. She graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and an M.S. in Instructional Technology. She began weight training her teens but did not begin competing in figure competitions until 2004 at the age of 31. Stephanie's ultimate goal was to become a fitness professional. Her first figure competition was at the Texas State Championships in Houston on July 10, 2004. Stephanie placed 3rd out of 11 women in the tall class. She eventually earned her pro card in July of 2010 by winning the NPC USA Fitness Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stephanie will make her pro debut at the Kentucky Pro Muscle Figure completion in Louisville in November of 2010. In addition to training and competing Stephanie McDonald is the owner and operator of Austin Adventure Boot Camp where she coaches and encourages other women to pursue their fitness goals.
