Leslie Ann Ferderigos, Esquire has represented numerous celebrities in family law, dependency court, and criminal defense cases. She has been featured on ABC & NBC news for her work in the restoration of rights for wards in guardianships. Leslie went to law school later in life after battling her own family law custody battle. In 2011, after spending over $40,000 in 4 months, she decided to go to law school, swearing she would never let another person feel the pain she felt. During law school, she was a huge advocate for mental health rights, equal parenting, and was against involuntary commitment. She founded a local advocacy group on her law school campus called Legal Advocates for Citizens with Disability (LACD), which she helped bring awareness to Silent Disabilities. After law school, she opened her own firm and worked along side with her Mentor, Jon Newman, who was a Board Certified Family Law attorney. At one point of her career, she almost quit practicing family law because of the pain she relived from her own family law case. However, shortly after giving birth to her 4th child, she took on a Pro Bono case for an Alienated mom who lived 4 hours away. After attending a Mediation for this pro bono case, she filmed herself during her car ride venting and crying about the injustice her client was living. This video went viral and within 4-months she has parents from all over the Country contacting her to take their cases. During this time, Leslie started a YouTube Channel giving real, un-edited videos of real cases and real thoughts about lawyering. Within 6 month she obtained over 1000 subscribers, litigated over 76 cases, only having practiced for 3 years. During this time, Leslie was asked to interview Candidates seeking elections as Circuit Court Judges. She took these interviews as an opportunity to educate soon to be Judges on the issues in Family Court. She opened a Non-Profit called "Lawyer Leslie" and started to hold LIVE videos giving out donations to Alienated Parent seeking to Reunite with their children. Leslie has a big vision for her future and plans to open a Nationwide Non-Profit giving financial assistance to Alienated Parents seeking to reunify with their children.
