Mohamed Salih Omer
Early life
Mohamed Salih Omer (محمد صالح عمر in Arabic), was born to Sheikh Omer Mohamed Al Amein (شيخ/ عمر محمد الأمين) and Farhein Seid Ahmed Haj (فرحين سيد أحمد حاج) in Badien Island northern Sudan (north to Dongola) (western to Kermah & eastern to Akkad) in c.1934.
Education
He attained his primary education at Badein Primary school and Algolid Intermediate School Secondary of Wadi Seidna Boy’s School (1st Grade March 1955, index No.358). He had graduated in Faculty of Law (Sharia), University of Khartoum in 1st April 1959 (second class upper. Get his Master degree of Low in School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London in 24 October c1961.
Political Life
He joined the Muslim Brotherhood in the Secondary School. He was selected as a Minster of Animal Resources (وزير الثروة الحيوانية) in The Ministry of Sirr Al-Khatim Al-Khalifa (سر الختم الخليفة) after the October revolution 1964 representing the Islamic Charter Front. In 1969 he joined the Palestinian Resistant Harakat al-Tahrir al-Watani al-Filastini Fatah (فتح). When the Communist Party came to power in Sudan with Jaafar Nimeiry in 25 May 1969, he return back to Sudan to participate in the Sudanese National Fron. He had joined Immam Alhadi Almahdi in Aba Island to fight the communist.
