- Flag – The flag used is equal to the flag in the infobox of the country's article, usually the primary state flag of the country.
- Name – The article title for the country currently used, with disambiguation omitted.
- Full name – The country's long-form name in English, taken from the lead of the country's article. If the long-form name is the same as the name in the "name" category, it is written in italics.
- Capital(s) – The country's capital city or cities, with explanation in brackets if necessary. "None" stated if there is no capital.
- National language(s) – The official language(s) or national language(s) of the country, with recongised minority or regional languages omitted.
- Name in native language(s) – The country's short-form name as written in the language(s) from the above category, in the order of languages listed. If the language uses a non-latin alphabet, a romanisation is written below in (italics in brackets). If the country uses multiple alphabets, they are seperated by rows. Six common languages are colour coded. The respective language colour is used when one of the below languages is a more popular spoken one of the country.
