The Edgewater Daytona is a mid-engine 2-seater sports car manufactured by Edgewater. Initially introduced for the 1974 model year, production for the first generation Daytona ended in 1984. In 2003, a new generation of Daytona was announced, set to be produced starting in 2005 for the 2006 model year. The production for the second generation Daytona ended in 2008 for the 2009 model year.
The first generation Daytona is known primarily for its auto racing career, participating in Group 5 and IMSA.
