The eighth season of Scrubs began airing on ABC on January 6, 2009. The show is centered around experiences of John "J.D." Dorian, a medical attending at Sacred Heart Hospital. The season will consist of 18 episodes

Cast
editZach Braff stars as series lead J.D. along with Sarah Chalke who portays Elliot Reid, a private practitioner and former attending at Sacred Heart. Christopher Turk a surgical attending and J.D.'s best friend, is portrayed by Donald Faison. Turk is married to hospital's head nurse Carla Espinosa, played by Judy Reyes. John C. McGinley plays Perry Cox, a senior attending at the hospital. Ken Jenkins portrays former Chief of Medicine Bob Kelso and Neil Flynn acts as hospital's Janitor.

With Dr. Maddox fired, the janitor decides to return to work and manages to fool the admin into just adding him back into the system. Kelso lies about going on vacation and happens across JD and Elliot in a random coffee club where he mistakes them for a couple. Bob's mistake gets them talking and they realise they still have feelings for each other. |
