Hello~ I'm Lee-Mei (李実), a relatively new user.
Right now I'm a junior majoring in linguistics in a liberal arts college in the American South. My minors change like the seasons; right now they include Japanese, Spanish and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. In addition to those, I've also taken classes or have done self-study in American Sign Language, German, and Korean. I'm not sure what I'll do with my polygottal skills, but right now working for JET is an aspiration; this man is my personal hero.
Otherwise, as you can see from my superfluous collection of userboxes, I'm a pretty laid-back person. Though I have some severely bad streaks, I'm mostly a laid-back person. My interests can be construed as immature, I suppose, but that's what be a geek is.
Among my biggest interests (and biggest familiarities) is the field of Asian Pop Culture, primarily J-pop (Japan) and K-pop (Korea). Given those and the aforementioned, my edits will be focused in:
As a note, I use a modified version of Hepburn Romanization.
So... as of right now, I probably won't go out of my way to make any major edits. I sometimes prune pages I'm looking at for grammar, spelling, or formatting errors, and remove any vandalism I come across. When I become more comfortable with the system, I'll be more confident with my edits.
