Armina is a girl's name, from Old German origin. Its traditional meaning is "soldier," or, more specifically, "warrior maiden." In Italy, "Armina" also serves as the feminine version of the masculine names "Herman" and "Armand." Some variant forms of "Armina" are Armantine, Armeena, Armine, Arminie, Armyne, Armyne, Erminia, Erminie, and Ermyne. According to the 1990 U.S. census, "Armina" is rarely used, either as a female's first name or as a surname.
