I am Lelandra Randle, a current undergraduate Senior at Washington University in St. Louis. I am majoring in Global Health and pursuing minors in both Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies as well as Biology. I am interested in applying to Medical School after taking 1-2 gap years post-graduation. This semester, I will be studying flies as a student in the Behavioral Ecology course at Wash U. My project specifically focuses on Culex pipiens, commonly known as the northern house mosquito, and is from the order Diptera. I am excited to be working on a Wikipedia page for our findings, as I believe it is a great way to allow for greater access to information on a large platform.
