Blackhole.MX is a crowdsourced Domain MX Parking data project used to collect different types of spam for professionals in the security, network owner marketplaces fighting spam, phishing, and fraud.
The project allows any domain owner to point domains with unused mx records Blackhole.MX so that unsolicited spam traffic that the unused domains receive becomes part of the corpus of spam used by the global anti-abuse community: eg:network owners (Access and Hosting Providers), security and brand protection companies
MX domain parking at Blackhole.MX is particularly helpful to companies to reduce or prevent typo fraud, by that pointing cousin domains at the project's servers since the spam messages received are used in anti-abuse.
Blackhole.MX additionally offloads any server loads that exist on the domain owner’s “a” record or mail platform.
