Patrick Bet-David
Patrick Bet-David (born October 18, 1978) is a Persian-American business entrepreneur and news media podcaster. He hosts Valutainment, a podcast in which he discusses current events, business, pop culture, sports, politics, science, religion, and history with celebrity guests.

Patrick Bet-David was born in Tehran, Iran. He and his parents immigrated to the United States in 1989. Bet-David began working in the financial business sector in 2001. He launched his own life insurance company in 2009.[1] In 2012 Bet-David launched the Valutainment channel on YouTube. It has since grown into an extremely popular podcast with millions of subscribers.[2]
Early Life
editPatrick Bet-David was born in Tehran, Iran on October 18, 1978. This was during the Iranian Revolution. Bet-David and his parents would leave Iran as refugees during the Iran-Iraq War. In 1989, he and his parents lived in a refugee camp in Erlangen, Germany. Bet-David and his family eventually immigrated to the United States and settled in Glendale, California.
Bet-David attended and graduated from Glendale High School (Glendale, California). He credits his tenth grade health and guidance teacher, Ms. Sinclair with having a great impact on his life.[3]
Bet-David served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division in his early 20s. He began working in the financial services industry of the business sector after his being honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Career
edit2001-2009: Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Transamerica
editBet-David worked as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Bet-David sold life insurance policies as a field vice chairman at Transamerica.
These experiences helped Bet-David gain the necessary expertise in the financial advisement and insurance business sectors which gave him the confidence to launch his own insurance company.[4]
2009-Present: PHP Agency Inc and Valuetainment

editBet-David founded PHP Agency Inc. in 2009.[5] The company had a few employees at its then headquarters in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. PHP Agency Inc. has since scaled to having 14,000 insurance agents operating in 49 U.S. states and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. The financial services firm specializes in selling a variety of life insurance policies. Jennifer Bet-David is the executive vice president of agency operations at PHP Agency Inc.[6] The company headquarters is now in Addison, Texas.
Valuetainment
editOn November 9, 2012, Bet-David launched the Valuetainment channel on YouTube. He spent the first few years doing videos that featured him giving his philosophies on business and life. Beth-David then decided to grow the Valuetainment YouTube channel by bringing on guests.[7] One of the first guests he interviewed on Valuetainment is Mark Cuban, the former of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks.[8][9]
Bet-David frequently makes appearances on news networks and other podcasts.[10][11][12][13]

editPatrick Bet-David is married to Jennifer Bet-David. They have four children and currently live in the state of Florida.
