Teeter as Jane Banks in Mary Poppins

Elizabeth Teeter (born November 6, 2001) is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and dancer.

Biography

Teeter grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She is the daughter of American dancer Lara Teeter.

She has performed at the MUNY theatre in The Little Mermaid as Flounder alongside her father, in Mary Poppins as Jane Banks, and in The Sound of Music as Liesl Von Trapp.

In 2012, Teeter made her Broadway debut in Mary Poppins as Jane Banks. She remained with the show until its closing in 2013. In 2015, Teeter performed in The Audience on Broadway alongside Helen Mirren and Sadie Sink. In 2016, Teeter Performed in The Crucible on Broadway alongside Soairse Ronan[1].

In 2019, Teeter performed in The Secret Life of Bees off-Broadway with the Atlantic Theater Company as Lily.[2]

In March 2020, Teeter was offered the role of Lydia in Beetlejuice on Broadway. She was on her third day of rehearsals when Broadway shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She returned home and attended Marymount Manhattan College virtually for one year. I

n 2021, Teeter played Laura in a production of The Glass Menagerie at the Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis[3].

In 2022, Teeter was re-offered the role of Lydia in Beetlejuice on Broadway when it reopened.
