User:LinkUCSB/Action spectroscopy

Action Spectroscopy is a broad class of spectroscopic techniques in which an event is correlated with a photon interacting with a system. This is in contrast to traditional spectroscopy, in which the result of inputting photons is detected as outgoing photons. Action spectroscopy encompasses such techniques as infra-red multi-photon dissociation (IRMPD), laser-induced inhibition of complex growth (LIICG), among other techniques.
