I am a big car fan, so much that i have over 3,700 pictures collected on my computer. I like the Gran Turismo series of games, various forms of motorsport and particularly the Le Mans 24 Hours. feel free to leave comments on your views on these subjects.
The 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans commenced recently. Audi won for the 4th time in a row and the 7th time overall. They won by a 10 lap gap defeating Peugeot upon their first attempt at this gruelling endurance race since 1992. Chevrolet had a dissapointing race finishing second in the GT1 Class losing to Aston Martin, all but two LMP-2 Cars withdrew from the race. Arguably the biggest surprise was the crash of the leading #2 Audi R10 17 hours in causing it to withdraw from the race. The safety car was brought on to the track 2 hours before the end due to heavy rain. Of all 54 cars that started, only 29 of them finished.
