Mehmet Hilmi Manço.
Mehmet Hilmi Manço born in Ankara, the Capital of Turkish Republic, in 1958 is a Turkish businessman from Istanbul, Turkey from Turkish parents with Turkish/Lebanese/Albanian back ground. His ancestors were Governing part of Albania during the Ottoman rule there.
Hilmi Manço following his Turkish high school education in Şişli Terakki Lisesi a historical school in İstanbul, went to Cambridge, England to study English language. After A level degree in Shrewsbury England, he left England to Leysin, Switzerland to continue his studies at the American College of Switzerland. Following two years of AA degree in Switzerland he continued his university studies in Florida, U.S.A. where he received a B.A. in business and marketing from Eckerd University in St. Petersburg, FL.
Upon graduation Manço returned to Switzerland in 1983 to work in his family company for financing industrial corporations especially in Turkey who sought to raise capital during the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. During the 80's he has also worked in trading in as diverse fields as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, machinery, as well as cosmetics.
Amongst those countries Manço worked with are China, Hong Kong, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, France, Italy, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the USA. After spending almost 10 years in Switzerland, and having lived in the U.K, USA, Switzerland and France, between 1976 and 1990, Manço moved to his native land, Istanbul, to establish his own company Kiminvest A.Ş. in order to represent multinational companies in the fields of chemicals, cosmetics, machinery and real estate investments. Manço’s efforts during the early 1990’s enabled the well-known U.S.-based oil and chemical corporation Kerr-McGee to acquire an excellent recognition and reputation and active large involvement in the Turkish market and in the neighbouring countries. Manço’s company, Kiminvest, represented Kerr-McGee for more than 20 years along with many other companies from the US and Europe and the Far East.
Kiminvest has represented and is presently successfully representing different U.S., European, as well as Asia-based companies in Turkey.
