Stopped editing wikipedia for good.
Things about it that made me quit:
- widespread bias (ideological)
- prevalent language castration
- sources with massive coverage are used to substitute and silence facts
- ignorance with regards to reality, possibly due to naivete in some cases or good brainwash: if someone didn't write about the grass being green - we can't possibly mention that it is and even if we see it being green - its greenness needs some critical acclaim before it may be considered as such.
- wikipedia turning into (or me discovering it as) not reflecting reality, but rather what a bunch of people wrote about what they thought of it, preferring demagogy and ideology sprinkled with fake statistics over everything else.
There is nothing bad about fiction when in the fiction book, but it should not define reality.
Hopefully someone would work on these points, making wikipedia an even better resource Lost Angel 21:42, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
